Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is Hiring a Sales Coordinator (Golf Industry) Near Kennesaw, GA

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Direct Sales Coordinator to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. The Direct Sales Coordinator (DSC) will provide support to Regional Sales Managers and their respective teams to drive sales and revenue in our Direct Channel. Support includes, but is not limited to, running reports for RSMs and DMs, monitoring deals, being a liaison between the field and internal staff, proactively reaching out to District Sales Managers to identify areas of support.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager and their respective District Sales Manager’s (DM’s) to create a communication and action bridge between the DM and all internal staff (e.g., Sales Admin, Accounting, Parts Department, Yamaha Commercial Finance, Customer Support Group, and Back Lot Shipping Department).
  • Besides overseeing the smooth progress of deals within our system, another key role involves guiding and supporting DM’s in ensuring the precision of fleet and target details on SalesForce.com, our CRM Software.
  • Create and monitor customized reports on SalesForce to help organize and analyze key areas of market-share improvement, sales opportunities / lead generation and key contact information.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers on compiling and reviewing monthly reports for Forecasting, Won / Lost Reports and Written Updates with market feedback.
  • While monitoring and managing the order queue of the sales team, the DSC will also be actively engaged in sales training and development while being exposed to the field with our DM’s assisting in Sales Calls, New Car Deliveries, Demo’s and various customer service activities.
  • Travel and overnight stays are required for these field activities and to attend various functions such as The PGA Show, Golf Industry Show, Golf Inc Conference, our Yamaha Annual Business Summit, various consumer shows and Dealer / Open House events.
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; College Graduate Preferred.
  • Experience with the Golf Industry highly preferred.
  • Prior Sales Experience Preferred
  • Computer Skills include MS Office, Excel, Power Point and Online
  • CRM (SalesForce) Experience and Proficiency preferred.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Valid State Drivers' License with a clean Driving Record
