The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
- Serves as an expert analyst responsible for developing and/or interpreting guidance on program planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Leads or serves as a team analyst or advisor overseeing team members, project leaders, and/or project support personnel.
- Prepares directives, issuances, memoranda, policy statements, legislative proposals, and other written guidelines and recommendations to introduce new initiatives and to recommend effective operations consistent with policies and objectives.
- Develops long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones.
- Identifies and develops ways to resolve or address issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. (Birth certificate showing birth in the U.S; Unexpired U.S. Passport; Certificate of Citizenship or Naturalization; or Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen (Form FS-240))

- This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. - Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S. These documents must be unexpired original or certified copies.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for this position, you must meet the qualification requirements outlined below:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: A wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative; management and organizational principles to apply to programs, projects and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and means to improve them. Knowledge of project management and organizational to evaluate complex projects and studies and the ability to identify problem areas, trends, deficiencies, or other similar factors affecting operations. Your experience should include an understanding of budgeting methods and techniques, the ability to prepare analyses and estimates, and oral communication techniques sufficient to present findings, deliver briefings, and negotiate solutions to disputed recommendations.

- Tour of Duty: Day Shift - Start and stop times between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Alternative work schedule, staggered work hours or telework may be available.
- In the event that a building is closed due to rent management, new hires may be placed in a local commuting location.
