- Conduct regular inventory reviews to validate raw material purchases and establish annual standards for material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Oversee the annual inventory process, including related journal entries on a monthly basis.
- Monitor inventory transactions for accuracy and manage the annual physical inventory.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) teams, and step in when necessary to support their functions.
- Ensure accuracy in product costing and cost of sales calculations.
- Review accounting aspects of capital expenditures and cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, identifying and explaining variances.
- Contribute to forecasting activities as required.
- Manage capital assets and coordinate cash control activities, including borrowing coordination with local and foreign banks.
- Maintain cash flow reporting and conduct internal audits as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management with an accounting focus.
- 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems, with experience in MAPICS being advantageous.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
