Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and custodial services, with a strong background in housekeeping management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
- Perform regular quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Certification or training in housekeeping management is a plus.
