DUTIES AND
REQUIREMENTS: Under general supervision, the Executive Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the department director and supervisory personnel within the Facilities and Capital Improvements Department. Provide administrative support to the department Directors, Managers, and staff; assist with day-to-day office needs and general administrative activities.Organize and schedule appointments; coordinate meetings and prepare/distribute agendas and handouts; take detailed minutes of department meetings, as directed. Tracking and entering employee’s time into the payroll system. Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information. Working knowledge of office equipment, such as computers, cellular phones, printers, and copiers. Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and various construction services teams. Perform other related job duties as assigned.This position from time to time will require you to attend activities outside the County.
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent; or AA or B.A. in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred; or Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are required. Proficient in web technologies, computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience performing complex and responsible administrative duties. Valid State of Illinois Driver’s License required, and minimum insurance required by law when operating a vehicle.

SALARY RANGE: (Exempt) $50,000 annually
