Full-time
Hours of Operation: Four (4) weekdays plus Saturday

Do you love talking to, connecting with, and serving customers and coworkers alike? As a Customer Accounts Specialist at Brownswood Nursery Garden Center, your main role will be to manage all Sales Orders and estimates for both Wholesale and Retail customers as well as route deliveries. You are the face of the company, known for your professionalism, can-do attitude, and resourcefulness. Customers appreciate your personable approach to sales, knowledgeable guidance in choosing the right plant for the right place, and sharp skills in finding answers to their questions. Multi-tasking is key in this position and you must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Brownswood Nursery is Charleston’s largest nursery and design-build firm. We offer a complete line of services from growing to landscape design and installation to maintenance. What We are Looking for:
- A positive, extroverted, flexible, self-starting individual who sees value in collaboration and possesses the perseverance to see projects through to completion
- Strong work ethic, integrity
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to interact with clients and potential customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Have the willingness to help our team GROW by giving and receiving constructive criticism in a respectful manner
- Horticultural education or experience a plus but not required
- 2 years of retail/wholesale experience or equivalent customer service experience preferred
- Must be fast-paced on the computer and familiar with Microsoft Office
- Able to handle physical activity such as lifting, loading, bending, crouching, and moving plant material and bagged soils
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
