We are seeking highly motivated budtenders to join our elite tribe of budtenders at The Other Side Dispensary and Consumption lounge in the Heights sections of Jersey City, New Jersey. As a budtender, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations and maintaining a welcoming and safe environment for our patrons. The ideal candidate will have intentionality about the type of company that aligns with them, the skills to provide excellent customer service, have a passion for cannabis and the ability to promote a safe and welcoming high end wellness environment for customers.

Responsibilities:

● Contribute to customer service operations, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

● Process customer payments using the dispensary’s point of sale system and ensure compliancewith all transactions.

● Responsibly handle cannabis products in a highly secure environment.

● Assist customers in selecting suitable cannabis products based on their preferences, needs, anddesired effects.

● Provide education and information to customers about various products.

● Keep the manager informed of any customer complaints or operational issues.

● Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations pertaining to the cannabis industry.

● Resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

● Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

● Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment.

● Perform opening and closing duties.

● Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

● Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing industry trends and regulations.

● Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.

● Knows how to use a computer and touchscreen tableting device.

● Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a security background investigation.

● Ability to obtain a state ATC Employee card and maintain good standing throughout employment.

● Must maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all security protocols.

Preferred:

● Knowledge of New Jersey state regulations and compliance requirements for cannabis

dispensaries and consumption lounges.

Job Type: Part-time
