American Fuji is Hiring a Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift Near Jeffersonville, IN
- Ensure team members are trained & following the appropriate SOPs for the manufacturing, inspection and packing of product
- Monitor quality and make decisions that meet customer expectations
- Conduct root cause analysis for customer and internal quality issues within department to ensure that quality issues are quickly resolved; utilizing 5M analysis
- Develop and maintain departmental procedures and standards
- Provide clear production goals (KPI’s) to team members
- Troubleshoot problems and issues
- Extract ideas (Kaizen) and make improvements
- Report production and inspection data and activities
- Assist in training and retraining employees
- Maintain morale and good employee relations
- Point of contact for preventive maintenance on machines
- Ensure employees have a safe and clean place to work and that GMP guidelines are followed
- Point of contact for issues or situations that arise on the off shifts
- Ensure compliance with the production schedule
- Coordinate materials to assist with efficient setup and changeovers on production lines; prepare materials for oncoming shift
- Occasionally coordinate with outside vendors
- Possibility of travel to visit customers regarding quality issues
- Other duties as assigned
