JOB DUTIES
Comments
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing sonographic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological and anatomical data under the direction of the Medical Director.
Essential Functions
Technologist will be required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures, utilize sterile techniques when necessary, and operate complex imaging equipment under the direction of the Director and/or Manager.
Temperament
Must be able to perform under stress when confronted with emergency, critical, or unusual situations. Must be capable of dealing with periodic cyclical workload pressures and levels of responsibility. Required to make independent judgments without supervision. Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, or decisions based on sensory or judgmental criteria. Must have the adaptability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure. Requires the ability to work with people beyond giving and receiving instructions.

2 years specialized training preferred
1 year One year performing general vascular and OB/GYN sonography, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) preferred.
Education & Certifications
Registered Technologist with ARRT General Certification required at time of hire
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required within 1 year required at time of hire
High School Diploma or GED is required
