Schedule: 4:30pm-12:30am

JOB DUTIES

Works to ensure offices and other specified areas of assigned responsibility are kept in a clean and in orderly condition. This position works under the supervision of either the Facility Manager or the Night Supervisor for Support Services.

Essential Functions

• Vacuums, dust mops and/or wet mops assigned areas of responsibility, including offices, public waiting sections, hallways and elevators.
• Dusts freestanding furniture as assigned.
• Thoroughly cleans, sanitizes and maintains restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors according to established schedule.
• Replenishes restroom supplies, towels, tissue and soap as necessary.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all clinic exam rooms.
• Removes waste from assigned areas as per schedule.
• Disposes of all bio-medical waste material as required.
• Maintains cleaning equipment.
• Responds to beeper calls to clean spills or other housekeeping needs.
• Maintain current knowledge of department cleaning standards.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

• Ability to effectively communicate by telephone, or in person; must be able to respond to beeper calls as they arise.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, both orally and in writing.
• Detailed knowledge of appropriate cleaning materials and guidelines.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent - Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
