Job Title : Assembler / TesterA

Duration : 6 Months (PossibleExtension)

ShiftSchedule : 2nd Shift (2 : 30 pm 11 : 30 pm MF)

Payrate : $18hourly

Summary :

Accurately andefficiently assembles / tests a variety of moderately complexproducts to achieve customer quality and ontime delivery schedules.

May perform lockwiring first stage subassembly and final detailingfunctions. Works on products that contain mechanical componentssingle hydraulic systems and multiple part numbers.

Activelycontributes to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reducecosts. Receives general supervisory guidance.

Note :

• Second shift is Monday Friday 2 : 30 pm11 : 00 pm.
• OT is available during the week(until midnight or 1 : 00 am) and sometimes on the weekends. Willtrain on 1st shift for 30days before moving to 2nd.
• Must have steel toes shoes

JobResponsibilities :

• Performsmoderately complex assembly / test functions utilizing mechanicalskills hand and power tools mechanical / electronic tools testequipment assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment ina manufacturing environment.
• Records testresults on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipmentand flow measurement devices.
• May use XYrecorders oscilloscopes transducers and other relatedequipment.
• Identifies malfunctions disclosedby test data and reworks as instructed.
• Interprets blueprints engineering orders assembly routestest specifications service bulletins customer requirements andquality directives
• Produces and inspectsassemblies that conform to product specifications. Assembles testsand / or solders to customer and / or industry standards.
• Performs touchup or full surface painting of parts withfinishing materials such as paint lacquer glaze etc. Mixes paintand cleans parts.
• Actively participates inlean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areasfor improvement.
• May assist in training lessexperienced team members.
• Observes all safetyrules and maintains a foreign object damage (FOD) free workarea.
• Ensures all equipment is calibrated inaccordance with calibration schedule.
• Mayperform other related responsibilities.

• Two or more yearsindustry related experience in assembly / test in a manufacturingenvironment.
• Demonstrate product and processknowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
• Proficient in reading andunderstanding blueprints route sheets and testspecifications.
• Perform basic mathematicalcalculations as well as demonstrate effective verbal written andbasic computer skills.
• Possess strongmechanical reasoning.
• Able to implement andeffectively apply lean initiatives.
• Possesseffective interpersonal communication skills as well as the abilityto work in a team environment.
• Able tointerpret reports and use standard business softwareapplications.
• Able to use employee selfserviceto access online information and use specialized automated systems(i.e. PMR TORS email).
• May require solderingcertification per customer requirements.
• Ability to effectively demonstrate team membercompetencies and participate in goal setting performance feedbackand selfdevelopment activities.
