Spring Mill Manor is Hiring a Catering Sales Manager Near Ivyland, PA

Spring Mill Manor = under new ownership!

We're expanding our Event Team and looking for a Wedding Coordinator with strong experience in leading a service team in the successful completion of the event. Our Wedding Coordinators are focused on selling, planning and coordinating all event details from start to finish for the wedding day. Must have experience in leading a team of servers in executing the event flawlessly, while also being able to work with the bride and groom in ensuring all details are planned effectively leading up to the wedding.

Qualifications
-1-2 years’ experience of wedding management/coordination at an event venue, caterer or planning company (looking for someone who has coordinated over 50 weddings/large banquets)

  • **This is not an entry job, you must have the above qualification to apply**

-Ability to creatively find solutions to problems in a high-pressure environment

-Highly self-motivated

-Willing to invest time in the wedding industry and continue to grow the department

-Provide Tours and Host meetings prior to booking

-Plan event details from day of booking (final detail meetings, tasting, rehearsal practices, open houses, etc.) to the day-of coordination

-Be there night-of [few hours before host arrives to end of the night clean up] to execute event details with Front and Back of House

-Attends Weekly BEO Meetings with Kitchen Team

-Manages departmental inventories (for staff and events)

-Have thorough knowledge of all Banquet Employee’s job descriptions / Handbooks to lead and train the staff
