Design First Builders is one of Chicago's leading design/build firms! We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring smooth financial operations and other duties as assigned for multiple entities.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Reconciliation: Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports and statements for management review.

4. Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.

5. Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring they are recorded correctly and matched with appropriate receipts and documentation.

6. Record-Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.

Qualifications Include:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin languages required.
• Proficient in QuickBooks preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite preferred.
