We are seeking one Preschool Assistant to join our fun and energetic team! We hope to welcome our new staff in May of 2024 for training purposes. Preschool staff return to the classroom toward the end of August to prepare for school beginning in September. Our calendar follows the Issaquah School District calendar.
- Work Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00am – 2:30pm
- Partner with Preschool Teacher to prepare and plan curriculum.
- Supervise, guide, and teach a maximum of 15 children, ages 3-5.
- Effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff both verbally and in writing.
- Clean, sanitize and maintain equipment, toys, supplies, and classroom.
- Maintain safety rules and an appropriate classroom learning environment as set by the City of Issaquah.
- Fill in as acting “Teacher” when Teacher is absent.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in planning and supervising recreational and/or educational activities
- Must enjoy working with children, ages 3-5
- Possess current CPR & AED certification or be willing to acquire by September of 2024
