Si sí, la Ciudad de Issaquah está buscándote para ayudarnos a lanzar un campamento de inmersión completamente nuevo y en español: el Campamento ‘Quah. Se requiere un director, un subdirector y diversos consejeros del campamento para ayudarnos a diseñar el equipo de nuestro nuevo campamento de verano. ¡Crea experiencias memorables y a la vez ten un impacto positivo en los integrantes del equipo, así como en la de los campistas y sus familias!

If so, the City of Issaquah is looking for you to help us launch a brand-new Spanish immersion camp — Campamento ‘Quah! One Director, one Assistant Director, and multiple Camp Counselors are needed to help build out our new summer camp team. Create memorable experiences while positively impacting the lives of the team as well as the campers and their families!
 
Campamento ‘Quah serves up to 60 Spanish-Speaking & Dual-Language campers, grades 2 - 5
40 hours/week; 7am – 6pm for 2 weeks
Monday – Friday, August 5 – 9, 2024 and August 12 – 16, 2024
Mandatory Staff Training: June 17 - 21 (excluding June 19)

• Ensure the safety of campers at all times.
• Plan, prepare and lead engaging activities, games, and crafts.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive camp environment.
• Positively model behavior for campers, demonstrating responsibility and respect.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining camp facilities.
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with your team.

• Must speak fluent Spanish or be in High School Spanish 3.
• Must show a passion for working with children and creating a fun, active, and positive environment.
• Must show strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Must be a minimum of 17-years-old.
• Those 18-years-old or older must pass a criminal background check prior to onboarding. 
• Must have current CPR & AED certification by first day of camp. City will offer training.
