Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Bring back patients and obtain Health History (HPI).

Conduct vital sign assessments.

Utilize EMR/EHR Modmed for efficient record-keeping.

Assist in various in-office procedures.

Obtain a podiatric radiographer license (covered by the business) and perform foot/ankle x-rays.

Collaborate in the in-house production of orthotics, assisting the doctor.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and insurance companies.

Handle pre-certifications and verify patient benefits.

Manage and schedule patient appointments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
