Established Medical Management Company in New Hyde Park is seeking experienced Revenue Cycle Specialists with strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Looking for candidates that are reliable with great attention to detail and can work independently and as part of a team. The position requires well-rounded knowledge of the medical billing process including claim submission and follow up. Duties include:
- Review submitted claims for accuracy
- Conduct follow up and research on all unpaid claims with insurance companies
- Work on insurance appeals and denial management
- Insurance verification
- Manage patient calls and balances
- Participate in client/rep meetings
Qualifications and skills required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer proficient
- Billing school certification a plus
