Position Summary:

The Communications Supervisor helps to direct and coordinate the activities of the refurbishment laboratory/repair and overall responsibility for Stealth reader production and programming. Works to assure production runs on time and without errors in products. Assures that material needed is at work areas as needed for smooth production flow. Manages the RMA flows and assures that turn around is within 3 weeks of receipt. Works with independence in carrying out duties. Responsible for the accurate counting and storing of all inventories related to the department. Assist the Plant Manager to monitor production of goods or the effectiveness of services, ensure accurate amount is produced at the right quality and cost and provides administrative support to production staff.

Additionally, they provide coaching and direction to the floor technicians to ensure targets are met. Directs and coordinates activities of the plant and RMA Dept. by performing the duties personally or through subordinates.

Essential Skills and Experience:

· Associates degree required in communication

· Have English written and verbal communication skills.

· Good Math skills are required.

· Mechanical aptitude required.

· 2 years Quality Control experience is desired.

· Working knowledge of measurement instruments.

· General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

· Six Sigma training a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for handling all outgoing shipments which includes preparing all shipping documents. Will be responsible for all incoming shipments which include inspection, confirming inventory is accounted for, and properly stocked for the RMA and Stealth production departments

· Providing assistance to the production process and scheduling, overseeing quality control and ensuring products are produced on time. May supervise up to 10 or more people on the production floor.

· Assist in checking production standards and applying quality-control programs

· Assist in enforcing all Safety rules and regulations to ensure everyone is wearing the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

· Manage inventory flow so production is not interrupted.

· Assist to Ensure all facility equipment is maintained up to company standards

· Assist in Ensuring plant is following all federal and state regulations along with company policy/procedure

· Direct the RMA Dept. on all priorities

· All other duties as assigned.
