JRG Partners is Hiring a Personal Injury Paralegal Near Huntsville, AL

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Personal Injury Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys to provide support in all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial client intake to case resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client interviews and intake assessments to gather relevant information regarding personal injury claims.
  • Assist attorneys in drafting and filing legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, police reports, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries and memoranda.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials, exhibits, and witness lists.
  • Prepare settlement demand packages and negotiate settlement agreements under the direction of attorneys.
  • Provide administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • years of experience working as a paralegal in personal injury law.
  • Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of state and federal court procedures and rules of civil procedure.
