• Troubleshooting and maintenance of robotic welding equipment, using PLC’s and test equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to troubleshoot robotic weld programs.
• Test production machines and equipment.
• Participate in machinery installation, repair, and maintenance of robotic welding equipment.
• Familiar with RCM
• Comply with requirements as outlined in the company handbook and any OSHA requirements.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Practice good housekeeping.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Possibility to lead 4 other technicians.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability to successfully perform the job.

Education and/or experience

• Two years college or technical school training in industrial maintenance, or 5 or more years’ experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of robots.
• Experience with Mechanical Stamping Presses a plus.

Language Skills

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, managers, etc.

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to identify problems with production machinery and develop a plan to repair.

Certificate, Licenses, Registrations

• None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to stand/walk, reaching with hands and arms. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
• Must have valid driver’s license, be able to drive PIT equipment and work at heights.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
