H & H Heating & Cooling, LLC is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Huntsville, AL

H&H Heating & Cooling, LLC is looking to expand our team. Family-owned and operated since 1996, our company prides itself on the forefront of a strong reputable reputation in the commercial mechanical/HVAC construction industry. Our company engages in mechanical projects that focus on complete building renovations, new installations of HVAC components and piping systems, building automation systems, underground utilities, and underground piping.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This job involves the operation of various construction equipment including dozers, excavators, trenchers, skid steer, track Loader, sweepers, tractors, backhoes, front-end loaders, and dump trucks. May also include forklifts and front skid steer loaders.

*Work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm (40 hrs a week)*

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate various equipment such as dozers, excavators, trenchers, skid steer, track Loader, and sweepers.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to required standards and plans.
  • Willing to work on the ground to complete tasks as needed.
  • Complete daily equipment inspections and report any issues immediately.
  • Maintain a high level of quality work at all times.
  • Maintain good relationships with Technicians, foremen, Superintendents, Inspectors, Developers, and other co-workers at all times.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Represent and promote H & H professionally and honestly.
  • GPS experience is a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate and convey information effectively
  • Must be physically able to stand, walk, sit, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift 75 pounds
  • Knowledge of OSHA Standards
  • Personal transportation to and from work
  • Committed to attending work each day

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to obtain a government clearance to enter job sites
  • 4 years of experience operating equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA10, preferred 
  • CDL, preferred
