UNITY Systems is Hiring an Assembler Near Huntsville, AL
Job Purpose:
Assemble Electronic Circuit Boards per specifications and ensure quality is a priority
Nature of Duties:
- Performs a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies, which may vary from sitting to standing, moving line to stationary, with very light to medium weight components.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Inspect product using established quality criteria.
- Follow detailed color-coded instructions to perform intricate installation, hand soldering, wiring, harnessing and hardware assembly on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience is helpful but not required
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is necessary
- Overtime required when needed
- Must be able to lift 25-30lbs
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
