Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor on our warehouse operations team will be responsible for the processing and movement of products in and out of the warehouse while maintaining cycle-time and cost KPI’s. The Warehouse Supervisor will also play a key role in developing and training our frontline team members and implementing process improvement for the value stream they support. The Warehouse Supervisor will meet cost commitments for a wide variety of tasks, including productivity, overtime management, equipment utilization, and maintenance costs, along with other related activities and programs. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of direct reports across multiple departments, requiring cross-training.

Primary Duties:
  • Make sure proper safety equipment and functional ergonomics are used to safely perform job.
  • Manage dock safety light system and trailer safety process.
  • Develop and maintain schedules and perform critical path analysis to achieve cycle-time goals & metrics.
  • Coach, mentor & guide a team spanning multiple departments, in processes supporting company policy.
  • Ensure all shifts are properly staffed, trained, and held accountable to safety, processes, and policies.
  • Interface with internal customers, project teammates, and other value streams to develop, monitor and maintain daily operations, cost controls, and process improvement plans.
  • Develop and maintain cost tracking, including working with other managers to maintain labor costs.
  • Generate and maintain resource plans collaboratively with functional managers.
  • Interface with internal customers, vendors, sub-contractors, as well as internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Generate program status reports, technical reports, and status summaries.
  • Track project and program risks, mitigation plans, and action items.
  • Support management at all levels by developing daily work plans, monitoring execution, and identifying performance risks and mitigation actions.
  • Track and report on deliverables and requirement lists with changing variables throughout the day.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute corrective actions and recovery plans, when necessary.
  • Support inbound and outbound teams with planning, identifying issues, and problem solving.
  • Lead and support our logistics program for efficient and cost-effective delivery to our customers.
  • Clean and organize your work area and your department according to approved methods.
  • Own all areas of the warehouse and partner with peers and other business units to drive accountability.
  • Support organizational Core Values: People, Accountability, Customers, Teamwork.
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience, to include experience in managing people.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis, including change management skills.
  • Experience managing process improvement involving multiple complex activities.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills. It’s ok to overcommunicate.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
  • Proven team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Makes Safety a priority, with a positive can-do work attitude!
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
