Essential Functions
- Creates production schedules, ensures relevant staff receives the schedules and that they are followed, and records the output into the correct system.
- Uses plant fabrication lead times and historical performance data to create schedules, collaborating with production and material personnel to ensure streamlined operations.
- Records production progress and ensures that documentation is accurate and that all of the various processes and timelines are followed closely for the most efficient results possible.
- Evaluate and determine estimated equipment set-ups, cycle times, and work center hours. Liaises between customers, Customer Service, and Purchasing pertaining to product demand and the scheduling of purchases. Write, approve, and assist with procedures and work instructions.
- Monitors material flow and works with vendors to ensure that supply needs and shipping goals are met and collaborates with engineering personnel on the creation of production bills of material. Reconciles inaccuracies with customer shipments and deliveries.
- Reconciles inaccuracies with customer shipments and deliveries. Documents key information, including downtime, peak production, inventory accuracy, and scheduling accuracy; and works with Information Technology personnel to analyze and create enhanced functionality in manufacturing applications.
- Interfaces with organizational stakeholders to better understand business goals and revise master schedules as needed.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Proficient in MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Business Central
