We have an opportunity for a Security Consultant to join our great Chief Information Office team on a fixed term contract until at least the end of 2024.

Also, although hybrid, you will need to commute into the office.

Role Requirements

Your Role :

As our Security Consultant you will be responsible for providing guidance to project teams on security standards and best practice to help them deliver outcomes that are secure by design.

You will also be reviewing the technical security aspects of solution designs (including data flows and customer journeys).

As well as having an end-to-end view of the security of all data and data flows including data migration and the use of data within test environments.

You will also be responsible for identifying, assessing and documenting security risks, ensuring they are communicated to, understood by, and signed-off by the business owner of the risk.

You will also be conducting assessments of third parties’ information security. As well as supporting

control validations or audits conducted by 2nd and 3rd lines of defence . In addition to this you will also be producing security reports and MI.

The Individual

About You :

To be successful in this role you will need to have extensive experience of technical security, preferably in Financial Services.

You will also have experience in designing security solutions in large multi-layered projects / programmes. As well as experience working with major programmes (preferably) and change projects.

You will also have experience of working with onshore and offshore 3rd party delivery organisations. As well as having experience of hybrid cloud / on premise environments, whilst also having experience working with a layered security architecture model.

You will also need good communication skills and experience interfacing with the wider security, technology and business communities to help deliver the security solutions.
