AMS Cardiology is one of the largest and most sophisticated cardiology practices in Pennsylvania. Atria Health is a national cardiology growth platform that is assisting AMS Cardiology on a number of growth programs.
About AMS Cardiovascular ASC
Atria Health and AMS Cardiology are opening a brand-new AMS Cardiovascular Ambulatory Surgery Center. This center will have state of the art technology and service our patients with Coronary, Vascular, and Electrophysiology procedures in the outpatient setting.
About the Cardiovascular Technologist position:
AMS Cardiovascular ASC is looking for a full time Surgical Scheduler with experience to join our team. The Surgical Scheduler will be based in Horsham, PA and will scheduling surgical cases for invasive coronary studies and interventions, diagnostic and interventional peripheral studies, electrophysiology procedures, and non-invasive cardiac testing. This is a full time 40 hour a week position with five 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule all procedure types.
- Check in/Check out of patients for procedures.
- Ensure required referrals and pre certifications are obtained prior to surgery.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- One year experience in surgical scheduling required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Team player oriented.
