Sunshine State Academy seeks to find an elite teacher to join our team of amazing educators. The ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching and will be responsible for preparing and implementing interactive, creative, and engaging hands-on instruction in alignment with the Florida Standards.
You must have the ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust.
Required Requirements:
- Florida Teacher Certification OR Temporary Florida Teacher Certification with passing scores on all exams within one year of employment
- One-year prior related experience in a classroom instructional setting
- Knowledge, experience, and demonstrated actions of best practices in curriculum, instruction, and school policies and philosophies
- Ability to communicate with persons with varied cultural and educational backgrounds, communicate in oral and written form
- Code of Conduct and Ethics Agreement signatory upon employment
- Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills
- Background Screening and Fingerprinting
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the field of Education (Degree may be in another field if you hold a current Florida Teaching Certificate)
Candidates without the required experience and credentials will not be considered.
