Security Accreditation Specialist (ISSE)
TS / SCI Full Scope Polygraph Required
The candidate shall provide support for enterprise network security initiatives, and authorization and accreditation efforts for enterprise network infrastructure packages.
They will develop and provide documents required in support of network changes and those required in support of the Sponsor’s authorization and accreditation process.
Leading Path Consulting is searching for an Assessment and Authorization Certification Officer (AACO), formerly known as Certification and Accreditation Certification Officer (CACO) to advise and assist the stakeholders with the Lifecycle Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and developing a Systems Security Plan (SSP).
In addition, coordinate A&A actions and system testing with appropriate security personnel; develop risk assessment, recommend mitigating countermeasures, and write short, succinct risk assessment and certification reports for submission to the Chief Information Officer.
Primary Responsibilities :
Provide Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) support.
Monitor and track projects in the accreditation process.
Develop and review all required project artifacts during the A&A process
Provide status reports on all A&A efforts
Assemble and submit documentation for A&A packages to the Accreditation Authority.
Requirements
1.Knowledge of the ICD-503 Directive for IC Information Technology Systems Security Risk Management, Certification and Accreditation.
Understanding of continuous monitoring and relevance to the A&A process.
Understanding of Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMS) and its relevance to the A&A process.
Understanding of risk management methodology.
