Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Administrator plays a vital role in our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient management of all funds owed to our company. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about maintaining financial integrity and facilitating the smooth and efficient operation of our collections processes. As the first point of contact for client billing inquiries, and nonpayment resolution the ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Essential Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing all aspects of the Accounts receivable (A.R) function having to do with collections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client account records. (Documentation on collections)
- Research and Liaise with Payors/Clients to resolve billing discrepancies and issues in a timely and professional manner.
-Reprocess services billed that were denied or recouped payment in a timely manner.
- Issue statements and perform account follow-ups for overdue services billed, employing tactful communication strategies to encourage timely settlements.
- Prepare and provide regular reports on the status of accounts receivable, highlighting areas of concern or attention to the Finance team.
- Assist Finance Team in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the Financial Department.
- Support the Finance department with month-end closing activities and audits related to accounts receivable.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and Databases. Excel, Word, etc…
- Excellent Communication, research, problem solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
Skills
- Experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or home care industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and invoicing processes.
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or accounting software.
- Strong Customer Service Skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
