Position Summary:
As a Project Engineer, your primary responsibility is to execute assigned design work to support engineering projects. This includes conceptual design and development of kinetic switches and pneumatic fluid power control products. You'll accurately interpret customer specifications to design and develop aerospace-qualified hardware.

Principal Activities:

• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Generate design modifications and new designs based on customer requirements.
• Provide design solutions to manufacturing problems and sustaining business.
• Coordinate creation of production drawings and documentation.
• Review and draft procedures for hardware development and testing.
• Provide technical guidance to support project teams.
• Direct building of prototypes and development hardware.
• Coordinate design/technical activities for assigned projects.
• Complete forms and documentation within the Engineering department.
• Perform engineering testing/calculations and prepare information packages for internal design reviews.
• Develop, maintain, and track project schedules.

Candidate Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience in designing mechanical components/control valves.
• Some project management experience.
• Technical writing skills for test procedures, design reports, and qualification test reports.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Interest in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Experience with switches, electrical testing, precision testing, and circuit boards is a plus.
• Proficiency in Solidworks (CADD) is preferred.
• Knowledge of stress analysis (ANSYS/FEA) is preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing practices (e.g., machining, welding, stamping) is preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing mechanical assemblies.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
