Role Overview:

As the Human Resources Manager at the client, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing their firm-wide human resource strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR functions, including resource planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer to assess and improve existing HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.
  • Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring a diverse and inclusive candidate pool while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to foster a positive work culture and support employee engagement and growth.
  • Conduct regular assessments of staffing needs and trends, providing recommendations for optimal resource allocation.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and support for leave requests.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all positions, facilitating clear communication of roles and responsibilities across the organization.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to address HR-related matters and provide support for integration of new team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR are a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in HR roles, preferably within professional services or legal industries.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues and provide sound advice and solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • MUST HAVE large law firm experience
