Ledgent Finance & Accounting is Hiring an Accounting/Payroll Clerk Near Hunt Valley, MD
- Prepare and process all payrolls, includes semi-monthly, special quarterly and annual payrolls
- Maintain accurate payroll records
- Prepare payroll journal entries
- Upload 401(k) and deferred contributions to respective institutions
- Code and process invoices for payment
- Review payment requests for content and accuracy
- Process check payments, initiate wire transfers and ACH payments
- Set up new vendors
- Maintain various tracking spreadsheets
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors regarding payroll/tax filings and quarterly/annual reports
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations related to payroll and deferred compensation
Starting Salary up to $80K
