DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates and implements building-level testing procedures and protocols for local, state and national testing.
• Provides necessary student data to central office staff.
• Works with guidance personnel to determine students in need of retaking SOL and alternative assessments.
• Coordinates procurement of testing materials; counts, distributes and packages testing materials; distributes certain test results.
• Provides training to school staff for all testing programs; assists administrators in reporting irregularities.
• Coordinates and implements online SOL testing as mandated by HCS.
• Coordinates the school-based local verified credit program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma required; bachelors degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of educational experience, preferably on the secondary level.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office, including the ability to create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs in Excel and/or Filemaker to manage testing data.
• Skilled in the use of technology to manage online testing and to utilize electronic databases.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to manage multiple-step processes and deadlines.
• Must possess sufficient strength to lift and move 30lb. boxes of testing materials; agility, and dexterity required to perform job responsibilities.
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, assertive, organized and have good interpersonal skills.
