Position Location

A qualified candidate must be located in the Southeast. This role will cover our sales territories in and around the following markets: Charlotte, NC -- Greenville, SC -- Knoxville, TN -- Nashville, TN

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. • Oversee regional and local sales representatives. • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. • Determine price schedules and discount rates. • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability. • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts. • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures. • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications. • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products and services. • Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business. • Direct sales staff to keep records of correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections, and to maintain current information on customers and potential customers. • Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and record-keeping, and in receiving and shipping operations. • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Business or related field of study
  • 2 plus years of experience in Sales or sales management
  • Must be proficient in the use of ERP systems and CRM systems.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Must be able to develop and nurture solid working relationships with customers, subordinates and vendors.
  • This position must have an acceptable background check. A non-compete agreement must be signed upon departure.
