Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide office and clerical support to the Human Resources and Safety team
- Help with interviewing and recruiting functions
- Maintain employee files
- Act as a safety advocate
- File paperwork daily
Competencies
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Must exercise the ability to work in a diverse environment with compassion and understanding
- Ability to switch gears quickly
- Fluent with all MS Office programs especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read, write with professionalism and accuracy
- Must be able to display internal and external customer service to the highest level attainable
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Obtaining an Associates Degree or higher in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience supporting a team of three or more strongly desired
- At least 2 years of recent office experience in a fast-paced environment
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is primarily in an office setting thought it will require being in the production and warehouse areas as well. When in production and warehouse the environment at times it can be loud. There is also powered equipment vehicles going in and out of both areas.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
TravelLimited travel may be necessary in moderation
