Job Duties
Material Movement : Forklift drivers are responsible for transporting raw materials, components, and finished products within the plant premises.
They load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas using forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
They may perform tasks such as counting inventory, updating inventory records, and locating materials within the plant's storage areas.
Safety Compliance : Safety is a top priority in manufacturing plants, and forklift drivers must adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
They operate forklifts safely, follow designated traffic lanes, and use appropriate safety equipment such as seat belts and helmets.
