*Connectors / Cables design experience highly preferred*

Description:

• Performs product design/development of new products to meet customer programs/requirements and new product development projects

• Produces new and modified designs of moderate complexity which meet our customer’s and our company’s technical expectations in an efficient, concurrent, and value-effective way.

• Develops and updates existing product base using a statistical and systematic approach, relying on well-founded design and manufacturing principles.

• Participates with Engineers in support of major developmental projects, including design analysis and technical recommendations that achieve the project objectives in a high-value method.

Design, Solidworks, connectors, cables, machining, manufacturing, product testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with electro-mechanical components and design, and strong electro-mechanical aptitude.

• Experience with machining/metal working processes, molding, casting, plating, and general fabrication/assembly in a mid-to-high volume environment.

• Ability to perform (hands-on) the limited fabrication and assembly of company products.

• Sufficient communication skills to successfully interface with all levels of Engineering and manufacturing/assembly personnel.

• Diligent and hardworking; able to work in a stressful environment handling a variety of tasks at any given time.

• General knowledge of test methods and equipment used to support the evaluation of our products, including mechanical, electrical and environmental testing and the ability to perform (hands-on) and document this same testing
