Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the payroll operations of a large nursing home group.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
• Manage payroll team and ensure that all payroll deadlines are met.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement payroll strategies and processes.
• Analyze data and provide reports on payroll operations performance.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure that payroll is running smoothly.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of payroll experience with a minimum of 1-year experience in the nursing home industry.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a direct people supervisory/managerial role
• Experienced and has an understanding of PBJ, schedules, HR, garnishments, child support, open enrollments, etc.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
• Proficiency with payroll software and other related programs.
• Ability to develop and implement payroll strategies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
