Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our team. As a Driller, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to drill holes for various purposes. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate equipment such as backhoes, tankers, dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, and Caterpillar machinery.
Duties:
- Operate drilling equipment to create holes for construction, mining, or exploration purposes
- Conduct pre-drilling surveys to determine the appropriate drilling locations
- Set up and maintain drilling equipment and machinery
- Monitor drilling operations to ensure safety and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete drilling projects within specified timelines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, tankers, dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, and Caterpillar machinery
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or working in challenging environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
