Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join their team. We are a premier healthcare organization seeking an experienced and qualified ADN to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight to ensure quality resident care and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Oversee daily operations and staff scheduling.
• Represent the Nursing Department on various committees.
• Mentor and develop staff to promote a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure resident and staff safety through effective communication and implementation of safety protocols.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff members.

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in New York State (NYS) - mandatory.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but willingness to pursue actively is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of managerial experience and 2 years of nursing experience in Long-Term Care (LTC).
• Proven leadership skills and experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical competency and knowledge of NYS Department of Health regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
• ● Experience with MDS and PRI (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Supervising: 4 years (Required)
• MDS and PRI: 1 year (Preferred)
• RN: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• NYS RN License (Required)
