Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front End Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized front end area.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with precision
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies
- Promote loyalty programs and upsell products to customers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Proficiency in POS systems
- Understanding of retail math principles
- Strong basic math skills for calculating change
- Ability to upsell products effectively
- Experience with cash register operations
- Culinary knowledge is a plus
- Sales skills to drive revenue
- Excellent time management abilities
- Prior experience in food service industry is beneficial
