New Hope Group Homes is Hiring a Direct Care Staff Near Grand Rapids, MI
New Hope Group Homes' direct care staff provides assistance and support to individuals with disabilities who are unable to fully look after themselves. Common job duties of this position include but are not limited to administering medications, assisting residents with their individualized goals such as household tasks, cooking meals, handling laundry, recreational activities, as well as various other tasks while also observing any change in health condition.

Duties:
- Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
- Charting or taking notes for others to review
- Providing companionship and supportive listening
- Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
- Responding to emergency situations
- Administering medication
- Facilitating community and recreational outings, including transport
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
- Household cleaning
- Assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, shaving, & grooming
Hours per week:
- 10-19
- 30-39
Pay Frequency:
- Weekly
