Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on the right foot.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival

- Escort guests to their tables and present menus

- Assist in seating guests according to their preferences and the availability of tables

- Maintain accurate waitlists and manage table turnover efficiently

- Answer phone calls and provide information or take reservations as needed

- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup

- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner

- Assist in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Experience:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Previous experience using Toast Reservations or similar restaurant POS system is preferred

- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry is a plus

- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations effectively

Pay: $16.86 - $17.00 per hour
