CornerStone Professional Placement has partnered with a respected law firm in Fort Worth, TX, to find a Legal Billing Specialist.
As a Billing Specialist, you'll manage client invoicing, accounts receivable, and administrative tasks in a dynamic legal environment.

Responsibilities for the Legal Billing Specialist :
- Review and enter accounts receivable write-offs.
- Handle daily deposits and distribute relevant reports.
- Distribute attorney diaries and correct time entries as needed.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and report generation.
- Maintain client files and billing information with high confidentiality.
- Other miscellaneous duties and assignments as assigned.
Requirements for the Legal Billing Specialist :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous related experience in a law firm billing capacity is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal billing software, preferably PerfectLaw.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong typing skills (minimum 50 words per minute) and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
Compensation for the Legal Billing Specialist :
- Contract-to-hire.
- Location : 100% on-site in Fort Worth
- Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 PM
- Pay : $40k-$60k (Depending on experience)
- Benefits : Benefits offered thru CornerStone while on contract
