Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Ensure that all customer inquiries and complaints are addressed promptly and professionally
- Maintain inventory control for front of house supplies, including beverages, utensils, and condiments
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front and back of house operations
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile cash registers at the end of each shift
- Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs to optimize productivity
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage service
- Proven experience in inventory control and ordering supplies
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant management
- Bartending skills are a plus
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
