Multi State Farmington Hills Collection Law Firm is seeking a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.

Candidates should have the following attributes:

• Knowledge of general civil litigation process.
• Strong attention to detail which includes the ability to self-edit.
• Self-starter.
• Interest in learning multiple state court systems.
• Interest in learning and growing within the legal field.

Degree and/or Experience:

• Looking for someone with experience in a civil litigation law firm.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to use hot keys.
• Asset to position if knowledgeable with: Creditors Rights, drafting pleadings, and understanding of Michigan Court Rules.

Interview/Material:

• Candidates must complete an Application before/at the time of interview.
• Applicants, per firm visitor policies, should be prepared to present two (2) forms of identification.
• Candidates will be expected to bring a clean copy of their resume.

Attendance:

• Candidates should have reliable transportation and be able to work regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
