Job Summary
We are seeking a Shipping / Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire shipping process, including recording orders, labeling packages, and packing containers.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process orders
- Distribute packages internally
- Organize and maintain the stockroom
- Make arrangements for the arrival of incoming packages and ensure there is adequate space to store them
- Document products shipped and received
- Create and present shipping reports
- Resolve any issues or incorrect orders
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and internal procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar position is preferred
- High school diploma / GED
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
