Office Hours Monday-Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 7-1. No Friday/weekend/evening hours.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during procedures and providing exceptional patient care. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fun, family friendly environment, we would love to hear from you.

```Responsibilities```

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available

- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, operating suction devices, and taking dental x-rays

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructions

- Perform dental charting, record medical histories, and update patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations

- Maintain strict infection control protocols, including sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment areas

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's reception area as needed

```Qualifications```

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred

- X-Ray certification and knowledge of dental radiography techniques preferred

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices

This position is full-time with regular office hours Monday through Wednesday 8-5 and Thursday 7-1. No evening or Friday/Saturday hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 64 – 67 per week
