General Statement of Job

Under occasional supervision, performs carpentry functions in District schools in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, schedules and standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general carpentry work, including but not limited to constructing walls; installing drywall and trim; repairing doors and hardware;
• constructing cabinets, shelves and other custom fixtures; forming and pouring concrete; installing and repairing ceiling tile;

installing carpet and floor tile; and installing countertops, etc.

• Assembles scaffolding to a height of 30 feet.
• Completes tasks in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, standards and schedules.
• Receives, reviews, prepares and / or submits various records and reports including work orders, diagrams, specifications, daily logs, etc.
