Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our low cost spay and neuter team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional spay and neuter services to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and possibly other small pets. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic veterinary environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Duties:
- Perform medical examinations and diagnose illnesses in animals
- Develop treatment plans and administer medications
- Perform spay and neuter surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- State licensure to practice veterinary medicine
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Experience in animal husbandry, restraint, and catheterization
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques for surgical procedures
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and staff members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high volume spay and neuter clinic
